Accessing our 3-D Lodge that features real time voice and text chat, clay target shooting and virtual duck hunting is free to all WFC readers and easy to set up. To access the Waterfowler.com Virtual Online Lodge in Second Life: 1) Visit http://www.secondlife.com 2) Click on the "Get Started - Free Download" button. 3)Create a FREE Second Life account, then download and install the FREE Second Life Browser 4)Once installed, login to Second Life and go through the program tutorial in the starter area. 5) While Logged in to Second Life, click the link below and a webpage with teleport link will open. Click on the "Teleport Now" button to getto the Lodge. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Bonaire39/186/203/22 AT THE ONLINE LODGE: FREE AVATAR KIT Inside the Lodge (left click on the door to open and walk in) there is a FREE Avatar Kit on the floor to your left. 1) Left click on small box on the floor. 2) In the window that pops up, check mark the box in the lower left that reads "Wear clothing now." 3) Click the BUY button (you should now be wearing your new WFC Member Avatar cloths , shape and skin, logo hoodie, hat, boots and call lanyard.) ** If you forgot to check the wear button, click on your INVENTORY button and scroll down to The folder called : WFC Starter Avatar. Right click on the folder and select "Replace Outfit" (somteimes you have to right click twice to get that menu option). SHOOTING GAMES CLAYS: Outside the back door fo the Lodge is a Clay target sign. Click on the sign to get a Clay Pigeon Shooting Kit folder. Go to your inventory, open the CLAY PIGEON folder and right click on the Basic Shotgun and select wear. Once wearing the gun, click on the target thrower to start your game. To shoot, click the "mouse look" button in the lower center of your screen, then left click to pull the tirgger. DUCKS: The duck blind is on the far west end of the island. Walk or fly to the blind, right click and "touch" the gun rack to get a gun. Open inventory, go to Objects, and wear the Silver Pigeon gun. Click the sign in the bling to start random bird shooting, enter mouelook and left click to shoot. Enjoy the the Lodge! |
